We had a fast sail up to Nevis from Deshaires/ Guadeloupe. Our plan was to arrive around dawn to be in time of the requested max 24 hours after being tested. Kind of unhandy for us we arrived already at 4am. It was still pitch dark and nobody seemed to have lit an anchor light. But happy to be already arrived we managed to set our anchor somewhere close to where we were supposed to set it😁. After a short sleep we went ashore to get checked in.
We made it! After waiting for 45 min we were completely checked it. Immigration, customs and port authority donethe weather was horrible it did rain the whole day, (that was why we were wearing rain coats in the previous pic), so it was nice that we could wait here to get our checkin donethe view from the customs buildingI keep seeing those caterpillars, still don’t know its nameCharlestown had a lot of pretty, colourful housesafter check in we moved Altimate to Pinney’s Beach a bit north of Charlestown, here looking northa closer shot of Pinney’s beach with one of the hundreds of rainbows
