Paris

Essen

that shop had opened the day we were in town and the people were queuing 100m to see the shop, I didn’t even get what they were selling but it must have been very popular
we used our new skills of baking croissants to impress and spoil our hosts Kissy and Alex, I have no idea why we are the only ones on the pic
a toy croissant for Bolle, so he wouldn’t be sad not having proper ones
new reading glasses for El capitano, I liked the new style of glasses
we visited Norbert’s sister in Oberhausen which was going back to my roots, I used to horse ride here as a kid
the only pic I took from Ursula, Norbert’s sister and her husband Wolfgang, here we were on a new renovated sports ground where I used to have elementary school events – it did not look that different
lucky us, Natalie and Martin our friends who always lend us their car, had invited us to that very nice and fancy restaurant, thank you guys!!!

Aachen

Back in Paris

as I arrived early and Jana still had to work the afternoon I asked Martine to join me for a walk
we walked through and around Parc Monceau
I just liked the mosaic on the house

Deltaville and Annapolis

I liked that fountain somewhere in the middle of Annapolis
we met Nancy and Bruce (S/V Alcyone) shortly at the yard where our mast was taken off, they were living in Annapolis and were so kind to offer us a grocery run – sailor help is everywhere just great !!! thanks guys!!!

Washington

my bladder forced me to to look for a rest room , so we visited the first museum we ran into the Hirshhorn museum at the National Mall

it was cold so we visited the National Museum of Asian Art

    We love following your adventures. It’s so cool what you are doing.
    Markus is enjoying his retirement too, as he quit his job beginning of the year.
    We bought a Camper trailer and off we go. It’s so good.

      yes wonderful news, indeed! We are very happy about them getting married.
      I’m so glad you like following our blog. It makes me happy when others also enjoy our adventures.
      Definitely a good decision to retire and get a camper! Life is too short not to enjoy it! I bet now you have as well a lot of stories to tell. Do you consider sharing your adventures maybe in a blog, too? We would like that.

      Have fun with your camper and merry Christmas

      Oh it’ll only take a few more years until we arrive in Australia 😉, hope you guys will still be there.
