Tango meets sailing- what a cool place to learn dancing!waiting for a bus to come on West street looking at the churchmural art of Chesapeake BayI just liked that floral side garden at the street St John’s College Annapolis Campusa pretty old polar treea cormorant drying his wings and this time I got a picture of the USNA midshipmen in their white uniformsone afternoon bikers visited Annapolisthey had indeed unusual bikes
St Michaels (28.8 – 02.9)
cormorants escaping while we were passingthe little park in front of the dinghy dock at St Michaelsthe first house we passed provided theses wisdom words in Germanpretty and green and tranquil was St MichaelsI liked the artful designed street signssuch a nice place to anchor San Domingo Creekso calm and prettyso pretty!and another wonderful sunset the guy on this boat lived there for already a few years, right next to the dinghy dockthe end of San Domingo Creekwe had finally seen a cicada -we had heard them since we arrived at the west coast; impressive how much noise they can make in relation to their size ain’t he cute?we were at the Maritime Museum of St Michaels – don’t know why those wellingtons were so importantthe museum was outdoor – those boats were for sale in a auction“fresh” oyster cansa crab boiling machine Hooper Straight Lighthouse built in 1879one of the first motor boats made of a production line
Deltaville (04.09-12.09)
Altimate in the liftit was so damn necessary to get her cleaned up!so many evil barnacles high pressure washing helped already getting rid of a lot of the little monstersafter the high pressure treatmenthere we walked to another marina at Jackson Creek because they had a restaurant
there were many deers in Deltaville – so cute when they jumped in the soya(or whatever that was) fieldnothing special about that hydrant – I just like itit was always nice walking alongside the streets with no sidewalkour breakfast area, the marina had a very nice lounge for sailors and even a poolone of the few pics I took from our favourite work replacing the toilet hosesAltimate on her dry dock placeturning the anchor chain the meadows of the marinathe stroll was maybe a 100 m … but at least a little walkanother creek just next to DYCmarina very common in that area to have boat garagesthe pretty lounge house of DYCthat evening we wrestled watching the debate between Harris and Trump with Sabrina and Tom; the laptop in the middle of the pic worked for us as a screenthe only pic I took from the bbq -we were already cleaning upok that was the second pic with all the occ members and lovely Eugene who took us to the airport
