Some football fans…

El Capitano, Sam, Johannes (Your Highness), me and Sherri
quarter final, not many supporters
we had again fun
full house for the the final, England / Italy; and mostly English fans
disappointed English fans
Italy won and we were happy!!!
and a perfect volleyball field

what a place

waiting for the other players to come, us being German ,we´re always in time 😉 as well as Lenny from Jamaica
can there be a better place to play volleyball?
Some random pics

rain protected laundry on a boat
“the highway” of Grenada, Maurice Bishop highway which leeds to the airport; the view is to the east in our back , the airport
one of the many street vegetable sellers, here at the highway
True Blue, west of Pricly bay a very fancy hotel with a small marina
the marina
with literally only one dock
and by chance we found a boat of friends, Louise and Joseph, unfortunately they didn´t happen to be aboard
Pics of the Hash # 116 in the area of Tivoli

on our way to the Hash we passed by this beautiful tree, a Rainbow Eucalyptus
Johannes did a detour to show us the Grand Etang Lake
a very beautiful spot
it is a crater lake in an extinct volcano responsable for the formation of the island, says wikipedia
as it is 530 m above sea level it is always much cooler
when we arrived at the starting point of the Hash, Johannes got stuck with the car in a ditch, everybody was helping to get the car out again

cacao beans, if you look closely

the final beer shower for the former virgins
Sherri persuaded us get the shower because we told her we didn´t have one before (silly us), so we were soaked in beer (even though it doesn´t look like we were soaked, we were!)

after the run
a typical hasher
very commited

later at the “Bumpy Corner” bar
Fort George in St George´s

half the way up to the fort
a huge cactus overhanging the street
the fort from the outside

the entrance of the fort
and the beautiful ruin

the most attractive highlight…
the best part was the view, the big bay of Grande Anse
the Carenage

Port Louis Marina
and the quarantine anchorage
the Carenage and the ruin
isn´t it amazing? 😉
