Our first days ashore
the view from customs office in Port Louis while waiting for our papers the Carenage empty streets in St George’s our first supermarket after weeks at sea the bay of Carenage the dinghi dock at Grenada Yacht Club where we got tested heading back to Altimate after our first day ashore St George’s and Carenage this pic was taken from our anchorage strolling around the bay walking alongside The Lagoon waiting for our laundry to get ready at Port Louis Marina it did rain a lot, but by the time our laundry was ready the weather was fine again and we made it back to Altimate with clean and dry laundry

first pic at our new anchorage we’re anchored just next to Carina 😊 Shell and James took us to Le Phare Bleu a beautiful little spot for cruisers but also non sailors…in times of no Covid just before leaving the little marina
A little walk at the east side of the bay
long time parking Bougainville, so nice in the back one can see Clarks Court Marina a sheep kneeling to get easier access to its delicious grass sometimes the houses look very used Hog island and Woburn bay little Altimate all alone close to the mangroves Whisper Cove Marina in the back on the left side one can see a part from the private island called Calivigny; on the right Hog island

rum punch at Whisper Cove I stick with beer little marina of Whisper cove the performing guys the beach at Hog island Nick and his mom Anne, they are friends of Carina and are anchored almost next to us Nick, Shell, James and El Capitano
Our walk to Secret harbour and Prickly bay
We started at Clarks Court at the west side of the bay
we passed Altimate garbage floats into the mangroves and stays there 😢 the bridge to Hog island the other side of the bridge and Hog island the entrance Secret Harbour marina and the bar where we had a nice refreshment somewhere on our way further to prickly bay a nest? prickly bay the nice and empty beach … just for us what a cool fan palm

Hash House Harrier
squeezed in the bus… at the beginnin of the walk at the beach the very toxic Atlantic Portuguese man-of-war ( I’m not sure if this is the correct name) another interesting creature driftwood or roots? we walked along the old airstrip driving lessons chicken markers to find the way soursoup?? I forgot the name of this fruit colourful hasher crossing the flooded area a young hasher best looking models ever the most colourful outfit some guys having fun and bbq cows everywhere the yellow hasher stop at the bar some local cyclists a hasher with new shoes😱 the virgin finisher and their lost virginity just a cool pic and a cute fellow
