the valley of Hermigua with banana plantation
somewhere in Agulo
…
pretty little village
with lots of houses built
at the hillside

everywhere terraces to grow vegetables

to the old Castillo
at Playa de Vallehermoso
Rocke de Agando
another valley watching south
our first trail
in the national park

Valle Gran Rey

the bay, Playa de Vueltas,
with the little harbour
and thye anchorage in the east end of…
Valle Gran Rey
slim build houses

Mirador El Palmarejo
or Mirador César Manrique
again a work of famous César Manrique

but we liked the viewpoint
itself with its
ancient inscription
a church pretty high with as well
a great view down the canyon
of Valle Gran Rey

Heading to Vallehermoso

somewhere on our way to Vallehermoso
downtown
at the plaza
presenting wood art
and enjoying a coffee
nice flowers
and again some art
a stop on our way
to Alojera
La Palma maybe in the back?
the beach and
a few houses of Playa de Alojera

unfortunately the house of Palm honey was closed due to Covid 19
we would have loved to see how the honey, well rather the syrup is being “made”
the valley

somewhere deep
in the

On our way back to San Sebastián

Teide de Tenerife
the clouds floating down the edge
funny legs
a short stop at Degollada de Pereza to check the wether I can walk the trail
which goes down the valley to San Sebastián

some infos
San Sebastián
El Parque Etnográfico de Hermigua and Las Nieves

a small exhibition which gives a basic insight
in spirit and landscape of an island that still feels like settled in ancient times
it describes how the gomerans
lived, survived and worked
it was surly tough work but its not
really to see on this pics

a few miles further
up to
Las Nieves recreation area
we kind of just found this spot by chance it was of course deserted
but turned out to be a terrific spot for an overall view of the canaries
though we only took this pic
and here I ‘m searching the soil for treasures
