the valley of Hermigua with banana plantation somewhere in Agulo … pretty little village with lots of houses built at the hillside everywhere terraces to grow vegetables … a chapel very close to the old Castillo at Playa de Vallehermoso Rocke de Agando another valley watching south our first trail in the national park Garajonay some rocks almost at El Cedro where we had a break a little stream in El Cedro and our stop El Cedro and up the trail the magic forest and more nature
Valle Gran Rey
the bay, Playa de Vueltas, with the little harbour and thye anchorage in the east end of… Valle Gran Rey slim build houses Mirador El Palmarejo or Mirador César Manrique again a work of famous César Manrique but we liked the viewpoint itself with its ancient inscription a church pretty high with as well a great view down the canyon of Valle Gran Rey
Heading to Vallehermoso
somewhere on our way to Vallehermoso downtown at the plaza presenting wood art and enjoying a coffee nice flowers and again some art a stop on our way to Alojera La Palma maybe in the back? the beach and a few houses of Playa de Alojera unfortunately the house of Palm honey was closed due to Covid 19 we would have loved to see how the honey, well rather the syrup is being “made” the valley La Palma El Hiero

Teide de Tenerife the clouds floating down the edge funny legs a short stop at Degollada de Pereza to check the wether I can walk the trail which goes down the valley to San Sebastián some infos San Sebastián
El Parque Etnográfico de Hermigua and Las Nieves
a small exhibition which gives a basic insight in spirit and landscape of an island that still feels like settled in ancient times it describes how the gomerans lived, survived and worked it was surly tough work but its not really to see on this pics a few miles further up to Las Nieves recreation area we kind of just found this spot by chance it was of course deserted but turned out to be a terrific spot for an overall view of the canaries though we only took this pic and here I ‘m searching the soil for treasures
