Impressions of Isla Mujeres II

A couple birthday pics and a walk around the north beach

my pretty kiwi birthday cake
Derya who made the cake and the birthday kid
early one morning we walked along “Playa Norte”
at the very north end of Avenida Rueda Medina which runs all the way to the south end of the island
early in the morning the beach was empty
only a few early birds were at the beach
only a couple of hours later that beach was packed
at the northeast tip
now at the east side the shore was slowly getting rough
now around the corner at the rough east side of the island
this guy was chilling on the wall and enjoying the morning sun

The meet-up with some sailor fellows, Cancun and more walks

at the beach where we met up with some sailors, those birds were fighting about food

here we had a sunset walk at the north beach
that car ferry was passing by slowly very close to the beach
one day off shopping in Cancun
we went to a fancy looking mall

A long walk to the south tip and some last pics

we passed some resorts
he was curious
that was a cute coffee bus with nice deco and seating area
bottle recycling
the coffee chill out area
just a house along the way
almost at the south tip
we made it to the south tip to the Maya ruins, El Capitano enjoying the company of that pretty girl
looking north
the exciting Maya ruins
I can’t recall if that sculpture was the Maya goddess of the moon and fertility?
on our way back on the rough east side we have seen some nice fancy houses
I liked that conch like looking roof or whatever that was
and another sunbathing iguana
a cemetery of Iglesia Casa de Oracion Emanuel
