Time Square, Central Park and High Line. The latter is an elevated park and promenade built on an abandoned freight rail line on Manhatten’s West Side. Its first section opened in 2009. With the completion of its final section in 2014, the High Line extended about 1.5 miles (2.4 km).

Day 4
We joined a walking tour that day. We were hoping to get interesting stories about Soho and Little Italy but the lady guide was in love with the Financial district. So the walk was 3/4 about the money area and only the 1/4 part was Soho and Italia. We learned that little Italia was not what it used to be and in Soho we had a dumpling – that was about it. Not many pics from that day.
that’s a suitable road sign isn’t it?coming up the escalator at Grand CentralCharging Bull, a symbol of financial optimism and prosperity Some people believe that touching or rubbing the bull’s testicles will bring good luck, especially financial luck. Over time, this act seemed to has become a popular ritual for (crazy)tourists, leading to the common sight of people standing in line to take a photo with, or even touch, that particular part of the statue. I thought that was hilariously funny!!!! Can you imagine queuing up for an hour to rub some big bronze balls???the (new) World Trade Center at a closer look9/11 Memorial, the flower represented that it was the birthday of the deceased the actual daySaint Paul’s Chapel and Church YardThe bell, a gift from London to New York City a year after the attacks, is rung on September 11 anniversaries and to remember victims of terrorism and mass shootings. “Cannupa Hanska Luger’s new site-specific public sculpture, Attrition, symbolizes Indigenous resilience, taking a look at history and the future, while highlighting human-nature interconnectedness and engaging with NYC’s heart of policy-making.”this piece of art was only presented a day before we passed through the City Hall Parkobviously Chinatownthis little girl joined our walking group and she was soooo happy to finally eat the dumplings, guess how she liked them – a lot

It was a rainy day so we first visited the National Museum of the American Indian and then took a stroll along the Hudson River side of Manhattan. In the early evening we had dinner at a nice Italian restaurant – not in Little Italy.
