The first days with the kids

We left Sandy Dollar and headed north to Williams Cay. After two nights we went to Rudder Cay, Black Point and Iguana.

it was chilly sometimes while heading to Black Point
Easter breakfast!!!! the easter egg colouring turned out to be a little pale

we had a short stroll around Black point
so happy to have the kids around

here we were already at Iguana island
the iguanas were rather ugly in my humble opinion, we have seen much prettier ones in e.g Grenada
a little walk up the hill
then we had bbq at the beach
with proper German “Bratwurst”
we had just finished our dinner

Staniel Cay, the pigs, the Grotta all the anchorages until Highborne Cay

I don’t know what was soo exciting about the piggies
much more interesting was the shark next to our dinghy when we were watching the pigs
the kids were heading off to a snorkelling spot
I tried this stick to have a witch-flight… it worked
Benoit had a go too and performed much better

the boats here were all at a mooring ball, we anchored a little outside
ashore at Waderick Wells we found crazy sunbathing people
here the geckos all had a curly tail
some revealing sandbars at low tide
the big bay in front of Warderick Wells

a shark was visiting us while we were cleaning the fishes Benoit had caught

Nassau

our first walk to get to a grocery store in Nassau
climbing deep down to reach the dinghy
after provisioning we headed to a nicer anchorage to celebrate Jana’s birthday only to get kicked off the next morning
back at the previous anchorage
Paradis Island Bridge
some of the shops close to the bridge were built on conch shells
we passed a few mansions
coming closer to the cruise ship area

last stop before heading back to Altimate
the next day we headed to Rose island
a last beach walk
at sun rise Atlantis looked quite cool, that was the morning we left towards Florida
just after this big ship was settled we left
bye, bye Nassau
