Impressions of Georgetown

As soon as we arrived at Georgetown /Exumas we needed to find a laundry. The one in Georgetown was an interesting one. The dryers were operated with propane. We have not seen that before. It looked a bit scary but it seemed to work. See feature pic. When ready with laundry and groceries we moved to the other side where a lot of cruisers hang out. The place was called “chat and chill” on Stocking island.

Crab Cay and preparing for the kids to come

Strong west finds forced us to hide at a safe place, thanks to our very shallow draft we found a great place at Crab Cay on Exuma.

The kids arrived!!!

Once the kids were aboard Altimate we moved again to Sandy Dollar Beach as it was a much nicer anchorage. The kids wanted to stretch their legs. I was more than happy to take them ashore while El Capitano was preparing dinner. We walked all the way to Chat and Chill and back.
