A short stop at Isla Fuerte
We used the stop to discover the rest of the island which we hadn’t seen on our last visit. This time we went to the other side of the island and to see some beaches.
Looking for dolphins at the bowsome of the locals go far out and dive for lobsterat the terrace of the eco hotel Isla Fuerteagain a wide angle pic- kind a funny with stretched El CapitanoI think donkeys are cuteafter a heavy rain the roads became very slippery I liked the tree how it grew for making as much shade as possiblewet wet wet a baby iguana he was very calm and posed like a pro, oh and we was small only maybe as big as my handI had no clue that donkeys like playing soccermore plastic artstrange animals were living on this islandPlaya San Diego at the south west side there were a few hotels but all empty heading to another beachPlaya Clava, just north of Punta San Diegotraversing the island to get to the east side where Altimate was anchoredI have no clue what that was but I liked the coloursa “Cabaña”in the middle of the islandjust a pretty pigthis chick also liked mangoeswe were surprised to find a library
Sapzurro
the big dock of Sapzurroportrait pics 😁 poor Capitano was my victimsuch a nice atmospherethis guy liked sitting on our solar panelsthis one preferred the washed ashore boat to sit oncool waterthe green beach sidethe bay entrancethe dock from the other sideit was a crowded Saturday at Sapzurro with many day tourists coming from Capurganáthe beach was also pretty crowdedthe view from the north side of the bayat the far north endthe Colombians do know how to take pics!!!those guys were playing very well soccer, amazing for me was the fact that they did it barefoot or sometimes they shared their shoes, they would wear only one shoe – I was impressedthe temperature after a huge scary squall accompanied by many lightnings- it was freezing coldthe roof fell down from the school after that squallthe hairdresser in action, every Saturday or Sunday the hairdresser would cut hair on the street- very funny to ushe only needed some chairs and his hairdresser casea grocery boat had just arriveda couple of times we had dinner herenice and always happy lady who cooked and -I think- owned the restaurantwhy did it look so green?more plastic art , fantastic how creative some people are!some chicks at Linas gardenfirst time for me that I had seen a star fruit treethe view from the south of the bay a walk to the little waterfall not very impressive though a nice walkthe backyard of the house just in front of AltimateLina in her kitchen, she was the one helping me to get a dentist appointment…and the two of us
La Miel

A huge shop offering a lot of booze, cigarettes, towels, beach accessories and more; in the middle of nowhere the letters beautifully painted in Guna designwe walked as far as we could and it looked everywhere soooo greenthey did let everybody know that one was in Panamá
Dentist trip to Capurganá

Puerto Escosés

Isla Pinos
one can´t see it but this guy took some pictures of us, he even stopped especially for thatwe were wondering what this was, couldn’t really figure out what they would use it forwe had to ask a Guna, it was a cane sugar pressthe village of Isla Pinosthis little chick was sooooo cutethe path next to the cemetery the cemeteryin the back the mountains of the mainland the first poultry enclosure we had seen in Guna YalaIsla Pinos even had a creekthe harbour of the village – just behind El Capitanoan old mango treeplaying around with my new mobile cameratrekking through the bushes getting up to the peak of the island, we gave up after one hour and returned as the mosquitos were eating us upcoconut and mango in between garbage, always sad to see the results of modern packaging, they last forever and often end up at beautiful remote islandsmango, mango, mangoit does not always look beautiful…
